Frauscher Bootswerft — whose handbuilt runabouts from Gmunden have been amongst the most desirable boats on Europe's finest lakes for decades — joined forces with Porsche, and together they set about reimagining the electric runabout from first principles.

The result is a boat that won the European Powerboat of the Year, and deserved to. The 850 Fantom draws on Porsche's electric drivetrain engineering and Frauscher's centuries-refined sense of form — a collaboration that is serious, rigorous, and rather joyful in the outcome.
